Courtpearl, founded in 1995 by Tony Tai in Shanghai, are specializing in business consulting for Hong Kong trading firms and manufacturers. Our Story
1995
Courtpearl was established in 1995 as the first investment agency unit in Waigaoqiao Bonded Area, Pudong Shanghai.
1995
At late 1990’s, Courtpearl organizes regular group visits for Hong Kong enterprises to Pudong Shanghai, which was considered the most advanced special region in China. We have successfully assisted many clients to invest and launched their first business there.
1996
By 1996, Courtpearl have assisted over 100 companies to start their businesses in Shanghai, including the Hong Kong Standards and Testing Centre, Inchcape Group, Yongshun Freight Forwarding, and Yijin Electronics etc.
1997
In 1997, Courtpearl established investment agency units in Guangzhou, Shenzhen and started to organize Hong Kong enterprises to explore investment opportunities in the Pearl River Delta region of China.
1997
In 1997, Courtpearl made a move to invest in the fitness industry. We assisted Qikang Leisure Group to develop their business in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and other developing cities in China.
1998
By 1998, we have already assisted over 300 companies to successively executed their start-up plan and made profits in Shenzhen and Guangzhou. These companies include Dunwell Group, Taideng Group, Colliers Group, Qikang etc.
2001
In 2001, Courtpearl was appointed by the Dongguan Municipal Government as the economic consultant of Hengli Town. The prime focus included formulating investment policies and assisted in the planning of strategic industrial parks.
2001
Since the turn of 2000, Courtpearl continued to provide advices to overseas investors. We introduced large-scale manufacturers into Dongguan with over 100 conversion projects. These investors include many long-term friends like Gaowen Clothing, Xuhe Electrical, Central Stock, Xingtaihang Paper, Dapeng Ink, etc. Total investment value has been over HK$5 billion.
2002
Because of previous results in business development, Courtpearl was continued to be appointed by more municipalities of Dongguan like Dalang, Shipai, Chang’an during the period of 2000’s. As an experienced investment consultant, we have again worked on more than 200 start-up projects in Dongguan. Many happy clients like Fantastic Group, Hong Kong Standards and Testing Centre, Yake Film, Anliang Color Box, Jiantai Printing, Jingmu Creative, Dina Group, Zhichang Group… etc became committed to Courtpearl. Total investment value was estimated to be over HK$20 billion.
2004
In 2004, Courtpearl assisted in establishing Guangzhou Huangpu Customs Declaration Association and became one of the first committee member firm.
2006
In 2006, Courtpearl assisted in the founding of the Hong Kong Printers Investment Association. Most of the members of HKPIA have established their factories in Guangdong. Over 100 companies joined the association at the founding period. Courtpearl became the founding member of the advisory committee and remain actively involved for about 20 years even by today.
2007
From 2005 to 2007, Courtpearl was appointed by HKVTC as lecturer of management courses for the the printing industry in the Mainland and taught Chinese business management at work.
2025
We are expanding our consulting businesses into Vietnam. As one of the rare local consulting firm who are in business for over 30 years, we remain active and trusted by our beloved friends and clients.
